Barbara Alvarez has partnered with professionals, organizations, and businesses to research their unique histories and share their powerful stories. She is skilled at conducting extensive genealogy research and has worked on historical projects in community, university, and corporate archives in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Kansas. Barbara's research findings have been published in newspapers, magazines, blogs, and corporate communications. She has also spoken at the University of Iowa, The Ohio State University, Geneva History Center, and libraries in Illinois and Wisconsin about genealogy and history research. Barbara has taught genealogy classes to the public for eight years. She received her M.S. in Library Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
